Kamras 4 - Mt. Hibok Hibok, Mt. Timpoong, Camiguin

Kamras is a yearly event hosted by Tinago Mountaineers from Iligan City. Luckily, I was invited to join and the trip was one of my most memorable climb ever! Tinago Mountaineers is not really a group of Mountaineer but they act as a family. I so love them :)

Moving on One of the attraction of Camiguin island is Climbing. While on way back to socials at Ardent hotspring, there are several foreigners who prefer to go climbing than do island hopping. And there are a lot of tour guides from the local who offer such services.

Moving on, Camiguin Island can be reached by bus from Cagayan de Oro City. There are several bus going to Balingoan Terminal from Agora Terminal, Cagayan de Oro City. From Balingoan Terminal, it is only a walking distance to port. There are several barges and ferries going to Camiguin island. For more or less and hour ride of ferry going to Camiguin Island.

Mt. Timpoong.

It is a very wet raiforest. There is no scene awaits you at the peak of the mountain but the challenging trails are the only experience Mt. Timpoong awaits you, aside of course from its forest beauty and the fog. :) chillin

Some snapshots during the climb;

Did I say.. umupo ako sa lumot sa itaas yan ng kahoy! scary

no choice but to cross the swamp. Good luck for the leeches >.<

Mt. Hibok Hibok

Mt. Hibok hibok is an active volcano and mountaineers usually went to Camiguin to climb Mt. Hibok hibok and stay for a night at the crater beside the lake. The beauty at the crater is so splendid! No cameras can catch its breathtaking scene. Not even a DSLR nor an  HD video can capture its beauty. Best Mountain I climb so far!

The lake.. I am proud I crossed the lake with bing. whew!

Going to the peak that you need to climb through the boulders
