The social climber refer to as the climber who join an mountaineering event but does not join the climbing proper but will be present in every socials. Some mountaineers prefer to only join the socials event because of some personal reason, hence, calling them a social climber.
The term is a common lingo by most mountaineers I have climbed with. I then thought that the term was use generally but when I happen to meet a fellow mountaineer not from the southern part of the country, he laughed with the idea. lol
I just was born to be a mountaineer on September 24, 2010 on my first big climbing event that happen to be on my birthday. Luckily, I met a lot of cool people and now starting to climb as much as I could.
Being a fresh graduate, I started to see the world and fell in love with it. Now, as a 1 yr old mountaineer and a newborn traveler, I hope to see lots of beauty and experience the adventure I want.
