Hibernating...

I have been away for some time in blogging world and this is because I feel like I'm stressed out from the busy districts of Manila (not from my side trips of course!). Being a probinsyana, yes I admit that part, I was in owe with everyday life in Manila. The people, environment, buildings, roads, traffic and most especially the very long ride.

Basically, what I love in Manila is this is the center of all of the destination. Unlike from Iligan City, we need to get to the next city either to Cagayan de Oro or Ozamis City to catch a plane. And they only have limited flights. Of course! who doesn't love shopping?!!! Being the busy center of the Philippines, Metro Manila houses different products ranging from the most expensive and least expensive and from malls to tiangge. But Carla said, the best way to experience shopping in Manila is to go to Recto, Divisoria and Baclaran. Goodluck! I only have visited the latter, but I make it sure to visit the others this March. excited much!

The best things that I have gain during my stay is the experience and the people. Got to meet a lot of travel bloggers and got even more inspired to travel more. I got the chance to meet the solesisters' Miss Chi chi and Lois, James of journeyingjames.com, Gael of thepinaysolobackpacker, Miss Chyng and a whole lot of them.

I even think of some trips hopefully for next year. And I got bunch of them even early 2012. Yay! Special thanks to my friends who make me ampon and teach me to talk Conyo but bisaya edition. And oh! My tagalog improved! Thanks Miss Chyng for the remark. ;)

A tribute to Sir Adrian Alba

Source: Pinoymountaineer.com

It was so sudden to hear the news of a fellow Mountaineer and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Last Tuesday, I have met with my fellow mountaineers in Boni area near EDSA. I was sorry to hear about the accident happen. It was the subject that have been talked since the incident and it was truly a heart breaking that until that day, the body is still missing and was found on September 7, 2011.

The activity was organized by Outdoor Addicts last weekend, September 3, 2011. On the 2nd day, the tragic happen while crossing Wawa river of Rodriguez, Rizal. I don't really know the exact thing happen during the activity but I do know that people with him on the incident tried there best to look for him. That's what mountaineering are for.

There have been a lot of stories I heard and despite the fact that there are people blaming the activity organizer, I believe that there's no one want what had happen. There are unexpected things happen anytime and the same thing may happen to any of us. It is a mere responsibility as an individual or as a group to take precautionary measures to avoid such incident.

Like what happen to us during the June 2011 Freedom climb in Mt. Lumot, Gingoog City. But the good thing is we arrived safe at the camp. And we later found out that the event's coordinator and in charge were looking for us. They all look so furious and worried at the same time. Though we didn't reach the peak, the feeling that we have arrived safely after hours of walking from 1 PM to 10 PM was awesome to think that we have first time companies and we almost had hypothermia. There were a lot of people blaming us or blaming the tour guide or whatever they want to blame but they didn't even know the real story. But there are people who were good enough to care.

Tragic indeed is inevitable and life was never easy. But don't let the hardships fall us down. Let us be a man of our own and be a friend of the people around us. Let this be a reason to ponder and show our love...

May you rest in peace po....

The Sole Sisters Travel Exhibit

The Sole Sisters Story

Yes! I'm coming ^_^

I got hooked and intrigued by these Misses from their backpacking the SEA + India for 6 months while trying their best to come up with a hundred grand that is 100,000 Pesos in 6months and had quit there job! Mayaman ba sila??? Lol That was my first ever question. But, being a fan of travelling myself, I understand their passion of conquering the world and getting into the farthest places they could ever be. But I'm not just a fan, I'm telling you.. I am just beginning to wander around myself starting from here, MANILA!!!

Naks! This is my first time to be in Manila. Not practically the first because I was once visited this so urbanized crowded place when I was a child. But, I don't want to count it myself. Anyway, there, being here is the chance to meet and greet fellow travelers starting from Ms. Lois and Ms. Chichi. Mga Idol! hehe They are the travelling buddies from the blog weareolesisters and I have been following their blog for months now. ^_^

I have known some women who are strong, confident and got a lot of courage from my mountaineering family, but these two Misses are different and I am honored to see them before I go back home. Yes, I have moved my flight back to Iligan City for a month to attend the said event not to mention I will have a chance to meet fellow bloggers and the Photography exhibit is a bonus.
I found them very adventurous along with Ms. Chyng Reyes and I was inspired by these women. The sole sisters are into surfing and I was challenge to try it out and so I did. Done surfing in Baler on my 2nd weekend here in Manila. It was awesome!!!

Whew! I still got so much to learn from the gurus themselves. Way to go The Sole Sisters!!!

Unplanned Tagaytay Trip

In the busy hot streets of Manila, anyone came from a province want to chill out and go to cool places. Tagaytay is good place to hang out with friends when talking about a good chillin weather. And okay, I should say, I really want to go to Tagaytay long before and now Im in Manila, why the hell not?
I asked my friends about their budget and expenses the last time they visited the place and said it was around 1,000 pesos. Kaya pa! But then our trip turn out to be the opposite.
Being so girly and always a late comer, we left Manila at aroung 3PM. A couple of board mates wanted to join us but considering it was already late, Kuya Raymond insisted that we should have left earlier that day. In short, he doesn't want us to push through. So? 3PM isn't that bad.
While on the road, we were thinking if we still have some spots to enjoy since its already late. We got 2 hrs of bus ride before we reach our destination and 5PM is close to nothing. And so, we decided to stay for a night. Happy me :)
WHAT DID WE BRING?
I only bought my jacket, a book, a bottle of water, 2 ensaymada, camera, phone and wallet, all packed in my  small backpack. My companies didn't bring anything except for food, wallet and phones. No shirts or any other essentials. Again, it looks like we need to shop for some essentials. And great stuffs they got their. Enough for us I think.
Do I look cute in here?

My fav 3 piece outfit
That's on my second day in Tagaytay at Ming's Garden.
Anyway, since we are going to stay for a night, we decided to take a tour. Go to Picnic Groove, People's Park, Flower Farm and Boat ride to Taal Volcano.. Yay! exciting. and guess what, we ran out of budget >.< not to mention we have to rent a place to stay.
FIRST STOP: People's Park
It was raining and the fog almost covered the whole place and ash says.... Wow nag-fog... wow nag-fog.. WOW NAG-FOG!!!! me: uu nag-fog.. lol

The People's Park

It was the first time she actually been in a place that covered with a fog. It really is chilling.

Road

nice xa

The Entrance

The Old Church
They said, the place would have been nicer and the view would have been awesome if it wasn't raining at that time. The view has been covered totally by fog so their rich exhilarating views.
We headed back to our JJPPi where we rented a room for a night. The accommodation isn't really a problem when you go there unplanned. I had almost thought that the whole place is for tourists and no locals have lived there because I could see resorts are everywhere, ranging from budget friendly to exclusive suites and no typical Filipino house is present along the way.

Manila Month Long Trip

It is my first time to travel in Manila and I couldn't contain my happiness that I made it here alone. Thanks to Cebu Pacific 25 peso seat sale :) best friends na talaga tayo :)

I have contacted my friends from Pasay and was so thankful that they will have me in their place to stay and to have an instant tour guide around Manila. They have fetched me on the airport last 6th of August. Thank you Coleen and Ash.

I welcome Myself in Manila!

Friends have asked me.. Why Manila? "It's not a good place to visit and the cost of living is pretty expensive" and they keep on telling me that what if I got lost..? Haha Opo.. palagi po akon nawawala even in Cagayan de Oro City. They have been calling me clumsy because there was a time that I fall from a dump truck and to my other recklessness. By the way, dump trucks are the means of transportation during each climbs from the meeting area to the jump off area. Anyway, I do believe that everything will always have a first time and the next part will be easy. Yes, I haven't been away from my comfort zone and the idea of travelling alone feels exciting.

As a newbie in blogging, I was amazed with the travels made by some blog travel bloggers and +1 to solo backpacker. That made me curious and wants to try backpacking myself and this upcoming trip will be the first step. Aja!

I tried to read read and read more blogs. See interesting placed and learn their history and culture. Wow! The thought itself made me shiver and excited. i just can't understand why other people can't feel what I felt.

So what will I do when I get there? As Manila being the center point of all trips, I tried to look for available trips who can accommodate solo traveler. As a starter, I only join trips, hindi ko carry and mag do it your own trips.. Maybe next time. Haha! Luckily, I came to Gafa Tours' site. They offer several tour packages at nandun pa talaga ang gusto ko. SAGADA Mania! I immediately book myself. The first time I check, I was the first person to book for 26-29, the longest weekend for the month of August. Buti na lang. Then I thought, parang 1 is not enough for a month long stay, so I find another exciting tour. Just I remember, a friend introduce Zambales and try surfing but I couldn't find a tour for the said area but I did found Istokewa Surf Tours. At nagbook agad ako. Parang hindi na ako makakauwi sa amin nito o baka wala na talaga ako pamasahe pauwi O wala na ako makain during those trips.

Hindi naman ako masyadong busy sa August noh? At syempre, the remaining weekends is to tour around Manila and to visit their historic places such as Intramuros. why not? and of course to watch Juris Gig.

Google-licious

What are the uses of Google for you?

Search Engine? Ad Sense? Chat?

Being into online world for years now and having my job through the internet, yes, google has been part of my daily activities. and I love Google ^_^

Over the years, Google remain on the top page and contain the most valuable application today.

Being in the internet marketing world, I should know the values of the Google as an important factor in Internet Marketing. All web pages, sites, keyword research, page crawls are now based on google page rank and people into Internet Marketing are dying to get to the highest page ranks.

My Favorite

I haven't learn much of all the Google application but one of the Google Apps I like is the Google Docs. As you can see, Google Documents enable users to use documents online. It synchronizes the documents in real time and it will allow you to put the documents in public or private and allow you to add people in it. This is the fastest way to modify documents online with collaboration of several users. This is the most important factor why this Google Apps is so important of Internet Marketing.

Check this Cool Video from Google Apps

What's new?

The Google+ app. Yes, Google unveils new social networking site at making social sharing and is said to encompassed the popularity of the leading social networking site today, Facebook.com. With almost 10 million unique visitors of Google+ and increasing, Google+ seems to be dominating the social networking world.

"This is amazing growth even for a giant such as Google: We cannot remember any social network reaching so many members so quickly after its release."

"Early reviews also suggest that the 'hangout' and 'huddle' elements of Google+, which enable video and mobile chat, could be aimed at challenging Skype".

What more you can ask for a social networking site? Circles. Enable you to add friend in a certain circle(group) you want. Huddle. Enable you to connect video and chat service through phones/online.
What more you can ask for?

Want a Google phone?

Android phone is powered by Google and is one of the leading phones in the market. Statistics says that   Android phone has been competing with the major phones, Blackberry and IPhone. Aside from its rich and powerful application, Android phones are pretty much cheaper compared to other competing brands and there are a lot of applications available in Android market.

Who wants a Phone as powerful as your Core2Duo desktop?
