As the saying goes "The energy you have put in the universe will come back to you", signifies that what you do as an individual and what you have given to the earth will come back to you.
The phenomenon that has now happening to the world shows the effects of how people use, manipulate and devastate the nature.
The recent tsunami and earthquake of Japan is the result of calamities that people couldn't do much about it. Pictures, videos and other footage has been claimed that Japanese people were too harsh to the ocean that it kills more than 20,000 dolphin a year. Others may say that the tsunami just happen were the nature's drawback to the Japan. Moving on, the Philippines has suffered flash floods, landslide and other calamities that kills thousands of individuals and hundreds of families came homeless. Also, Haiti has experienced earthquake that left Haitians the casualty of an earthquake that touch the hearts of people around the world. And now, Philippines is experiencing the rainfalls throughout summer. ITS GOING TO BE A RAINY SUMMER; NO DRY SEASON (source: Philippine Daily Inquirer). All this phenomenon are subject to climate change thus affecting the countries throughout the world.
I as a nature lover, climber and a concerned individual asking every concerned readers to take action to prevent this from happening over and over again. If, given the opportunity, I would also like to ask the government concern to lead the country. Just by planting trees, control all logging activities, saving endangered species, we might be able to help stop by increasing global warming effect. Given the country population of 9M and all these people will at least try to plant a single tree a year, we could then accumulate millions and millions of trees each year. In this case, we could save our earth from deteriorating and would help ourselves in saving lives.
I have been participating in tree planting activities as I start my interest in mountain climbing. I could say that many of Us Climbers already planted a lot of trees in the most bald peaks and mountains and yet we couldn't cover what been done and still been doing with some of our fellow individual. Just by simply making this blog, I could at least touch the heart of every readers and help save the earth.
